In an effort to reduce waste and keep batteries out of landfills, SimpleAccess offers a Battery Recycling Program to all of its customers and will recycle any used batteries sent to our headquarters free of charge.
Your used batteries might have run out of juice, but they could still contain toxins depending on how old they are and what type of batteries they are, so you shouldn't just throw them out. Not only can it be bad for the environment, but some states have laws and requirements in effect mandating them to be recycled.
Before disposing of your used batteries, please check your local state laws to see if recycling is mandated .
In an effort to be more environmentally friendly, SimpleAccess will recycle your used lock batteries for free! All you have to do is place a piece of tape securely over each terminal end of the batteries or place the batteries in a strong plastic zip-top bag and mail them to the address below. We will then ensure the batteries are recycled through the appropriate channel.
