If you're registering a device using the mobile app, please follow the instructions listed in the mobile app overview article.
If you are registering a device that is not a SimpleAccess branded lock, please refer to the integration instructions for your specific device. This would include the following:
Please follow these instructions if registering a SimpleAccess branded device from a web browser:
Step 1. Select "Register Device" from the drop-down in the upper right-hand corner of the SimpleAccess Software. If it's your first device, select register device from the Dashboard.
Step 2. From the 'Register Device' pop-up box and select the type of device you're registering (Lock, Thermostat, or Power Plug), then select "Next".
Step 3. Fill in the device's Serial Number and name the device with a name of your choice. Finally, add the lock's location from the list of locations available. If you have not already added locations, please do so from the Locations tab. Finally, click Register.
Step 4. After clicking Register you'll land on the device management page (or click 'view new device)) where you'll be able to apply specific settings, access users, and guests.
Please note, that the battery and WiFi values may not show up in the portal right away. If this is the case, please wake up your lock (press the # button) after registering and refresh the page. You will know your lock is online when the WiFi signal indicator shows up and a connection timestamp is displayed.
