Please note, the August API doesn’t fully support the 1st generation August locks, so SimpleAccess cannot import them into the SimpleAccess portal.
Your August lock should be a 2nd or 3rd generation and have a serial number that starts with “L2” or “L3".
Lock's with a serial number that starts with “L1” is an unsupported 1st generation model.
The August ASL-02 and 03 models are supported while the ASL-01 models are not.
Select August from the Integrations tab.
Connect with August
Sign in to your August Account.
Verify Your August Account (if required)
Allow SimpleAccess to:
- Operate your August Smart Locks
- View Status of your August Smart Locks
Clicking 'Agree' will take you back to the SimpleAccess > Integrations > August tab
Next, you'll need to connect your August devices to SimpleAccess by Adding the devices.
After adding the devices to a location you'll see the devices show up under the 'Devices' tab and you'll be able to manage them directly from the SimpleAccess portal.
Click 'Disconnect' If you would like to terminate the connection and end the integration between SimpleAccess and August.
